_session_id, unique token, per session, Allows Shopify to store information about your session (referrer, landing page, etc.)
_shopify_visit, no data retained, Persistent for 30 minutes from last visit, Used by website provider's internal stats tracker to record number of visits
_shopify_uniq, no data retained, expires at midnight (relative to the visitor) of the next day, Counts the number of visits to a store from a single customer.
cart, unique token, persistent for 2 weeks, Stores information about the items in your cart.
_secure_session_id, unique token, per session
storefront_digest, unique token, undefined, If the store has a password, it is used to determine whether the current visitor has access.
- “Log files” track actions that occur on the Site and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages and timestamps.
- “Web beacons”, “tags” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you navigate the Site.
